Access Denied

The Amplified bible in Ephesians 4:27 says neither give place to the
devil… give no opportunity to him.
When a hacker tries to break into a computer or a thief into a
computerized safe lock and is unsuccessful the system usually reads:
“access denied”. One thing the devil would love to do is
gain a foothold into our lives. We must be vigilant
because the enemy is looking to get in on us. When he
tries to get in, we must tell him access denied!
So far, I have learned that if the devil cannot get you to fall
directly for a sin that you had a problem with in the past, he will
try to introduce that same sin in a different way. For
example if you had a challenge with pornography he will get someone
to send you emails with pornographic pictures attached.
Perhaps a peddler will try to sell you x-rated movies. In addition,
he will use those people closest to you.
The enemy works this way with all strongholds and is looking to
break the lock so tell him access denied! If the devil cannot get
you one way, he will look to create another set of strongholds. He
never gives up. The adversary will dig deep into you past and
try to stir something up. Often times, the enemy seeks to catch you
off guard. He is cunning and sneaky. My brothers and sisters
the devil is smart, he`s been around for a long time. That is the
reason why we are to “be sober, be vigilant; because the adversary
the devil, as a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he may
devour (1 Peter 5:8).
I believe that the more we know about the devil, the stronger we
become in Christ because we are aware of his tactics. I`m not
saying that we cannot fall because man is infallible: God is able to
keep us from falling. If we study our enemy we can defeat our
enemy through Christ. After all, Satan has studied us from our
childhood until now that is how he knows what to tempt us with.
That is why when we were in the world wrapped in bondage Satan
instituted an open door policy into our lives that gave him access
24-7. In Christ, that policy has been made null and void and
his access is denied when we put on the Lord Jesus Christ.
Although Satan is called the god of this world, he really is no god
at all. He is a fallen angel who lost his beauty, power, position,
and is mutated down to a devil. The enemy is upset because he
lost his position and cannot get it back. So now he is looking
to gain access into our lives by trying to get us to lose our
position in Christ.
I write not to give the devil glory but to glorify the God of
salvation and to impart some spiritual enlightenment that we stay
saved.
Now let us watch our lives as eagles watch their prey
Let us continue in righteousness so we do not stray
The Lord is our strength it is him who we magnify
Boldly tell Satan access denied!
When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord
shall lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). Amen.
